Training for Organisations
Bereavement and grief have a significant impact on employees ability to function on a day to day basis. At any one time 2 in 10 people you interact with on a daily basis in the workplace are grieving. 22% of British adults who were employed at the time when they were bereaved of a close family member, said they did not feel supported by their employer. With nearly 24 days a year lost to employees’ stress, depression and anxiety having strategies and systems to ensure that companies go beyond any legal requirements, can help both the employer and employee.
With the right type of support, knowledge and approach, employers can make a significant impact on reducing the amount of time employees take off sick, and support staff to be as effective as possible during their time at work.
We are able to offer:
- one off support following a particular incident (such as the death of a colleague)
- a series of workshops to develop employers knowledge, skills and practical strategies to support employees
- support to ensure ‘best practice’ advice and guidance is written into your policies and procedures
