Supervision
Paul and Sheridan are both experienced and qualified supervisors. We offer supervision for counsellors and therapists on a one-to-one and group basis.
If you are interested in supervision as a counsellor or therapist or you work in a health related profession please enquire for further details.
Paul (he/him)
I have been supervising counsellors for over 15 years and running a variety of counselling services for children, young people and adults for over 20 years. This includes school based counsellors of all age groups including those with additional learning needs.
I gained a Distinction for my Diploma in Supervision from Kent and Medway NHS Trust and work with a wide range of supervisee’s who are trainee’s (reduced rates may apply) as well as fully qualified. I work with groups as well as individuals.
These supervisee’s work across a number of different settings including;
- Bereavement
- School based counsellors – all age groups
- Domestic Abuse
- Sexual Abuse
- Specific illness, such as stroke and terminal illness
- Church based support
- Therapists in private practice seeing a wide range of issues.
I hope that over time you will be able to use the space to explore the challenges of the work as well as celebrating good practice.
Sheridan (she/her)
I gained my MSc in Clinical Supervision in the Helping Professions in 2009 from the University of Kent. I have also completed a Supervisors training in Compassion Focused Therapy.
I have experience of group supervision and one to one in a variety of settings including:
- Bereavement
- Sands (still birth and neo natal)
- School based counsellors
- Multi disciplinary teams
- Reflective Practice sessions in hospices
- Woman’s trafficking charity
- Reflective practice in large multidisciplinary teams
I offer supervision to those in training as well as more experienced therapists and health practitioners. I believe supervision is a space to deepen your clinical practice with warmth, curiosity and compassion. Supervision encourages the exploration of therapeutic relationships, clinical challenges and the emotional impact of the work, while supporting self awareness and professional growth.
