Schools

1 in 29 children in the UK (ref Child Bereavement UK) will suffer the death of a parent or a sibling. That’s one child in every class. This figure increases considerably when you take into account other family members such as grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Knowing what to say as well as strategies to support the young person, can make staff feel more confident, children and young people feel better supported and ultimately make a significant impact on how children and young people manage their grief and adjust in the future.

We offer:

  • Support and guidance for school staff
  • Training workshops for school staff
  • 1:1 counselling for children and young people using interactive play based an creative therapeutic interventions
